Next up the senior rider went on and we stuck fat , making her our best bet each way. Up 400m in distance , she set a hot tempo from the breeze , hit the front turning for home and got run down by the swoopers in the last 50m to run 4th. Back to 1600m , Parnham on , surely a case of third time lucky.
Kalgoorlie r5 Regal City ; Sat 3 wide no cover in the All in Red race which was run at a brutal tempo and kept whacking away under the urgings of Pike to run a tough 2nd. This looks considerably easier and Pike sticks.
