Mr8 Our Century; Bendigo Cup and while this import hasn't set the world on fire in Australia it drops in weight and in the Uk has a 2nd to Hartnell who would win this by a massive space. 

Sr8 Cannot Be Serios; I can with this galloper who admittedly jumps a fair bit in class but was super impressive first up and backed accordingly in the ring. Watch market again.

Br7 Wicked Trilogy; Looks the best horse in race just needs some J Byrne help to overcome wide gate.

Pr8 Scales Of Justice: raced too fresh first up, perfect distance should redeem himself.

People are dropping off Hartnell in the cox plate like it's not breathing.  I agree Winx is the hot favourite but stick firm with it's the only danger.  It thrashed Jameka hard held.  Hopefully the quinella will pay overs due to the strange knock on Hartnell.

Best Bet Mooney Valley r3 Tarquin : Team Hartnell get a cox plate warm up with Tarquin running over the cox plate trip tonight.  Last start third to Real Love who ran a good race in the Caulfield Cup should have him cherry ripe for this assignment.  With plenty of rain around maybe wait til just before jump in case the track deteriorates into the really soft range which dampens my confidence.  Mad Bookie has a promo offer on the race.

Tonights Group 1 Manikato is the highlight , I am of the opinion that Chautauqua is too inconsistent to follow, on his day he blows them away but his first up run was flat as which he has done before.  Buffering looks to get a picnic out in front.  LDR will concentrate on the quaddie to have an interest in the race.

Best Bet Mr6 Theanswermyfriend: The Geelong classic is a traditional derby/oaks lead up usually for horses that don't get a start in the bigger Saturday lead ups.  This years edition is quite strong but I'll take a last start winner at Caulfield with that man Dwayne Dunn onboard. Crownbet and Mad Bookie are running specials on the race.

For those that like adding favs to a multi Mr5 demonstrate and Pr1 Settlers Creek look very hard to beat but are rock bottom prices.

Super Excited Saturday Tips

Best Bet : Caufield Cup The 3.60 Fav Jameeka is my best bet of the day.  Two runs ago she demolished the other local hopes and last start she thrashed everything bar Hartnell who along with Winx are the two geniune superstars of Australian racing.  52.5 kgs and trained to the minute will take a stack of beating.

Mr2 Morton's Fork- Sydney Form dominant this spring.

Pr7 Neverland Stablemate to both favs but absolutely flies first up and at the value around $12 great eway bet.

Sr4 Pumpkin Pie unbeaten winning easily at first two starts and from powerful provincial stable.

Sr9 Spieth Very exciting horse, one knock is yet to win first up but has had excuses.

Moe Cup On at 1.00pm WA Time and the fav Raw Impulse should be shouting us Moet well beer at least at around $2.30.  Was disappointing in Group 1 Turnball at Flemington but this is much more suitable and a wet track also helps.  Really looks classes above for mine.  Sorry for the late notice Daylight saving really catches us Sandgropers out!

Best Bet Bunbury race 4 Big Caroline.  When a mare hit's form they generally stay there and Caroline is flying.  Three wide without cover last start lumping a big weight was still too good.  Drawn for a much softer run in slightly stronger grade the $6 eway on offer looks great value.

Mr8 Euro Angel Caufield has a strong pre cup meeting today with wide open fields.  Euro Angel looks the best bet in the last.  Has a big booming finish on her, jockey of the moment Dwayne Dunn to steer home another winner.

Best Bet: Mr9 Ruettiger in the Apache Cat Classic.  $4 for a horse that has beaten Voodoo Lad and run 4th to Sooboog at Flemington at it's last two starts will do me nicely.  Voodoo Lad would thrash this field.  The one Query is the 1000m as it's better over 1200m but from the ideal barrier should park close enough.  Omen punters be wary of Bullpit withRoss Higgins, who played awesome character Ted Bullpit in 80's classic Kingswood Country passing away on Friday.

Other Bet: Ar6 Time Walker is from Adelaide's leading yard with top hoop Dom Tourneur to ride.  Dropping from a 2nd in Saturday grade to a Gawler c2 and you can still get $2.50.  Suggest you take it early and even boost it at Ladbrokes, Sportsbet or Tabtouch as doubt that price will last.

Sunday Hangover Cure

Well AFL is over and the Dogs left us all feeling happy with the world again.  Tipping winners also helps and now it's really time to get our teeth into the spring carnival.

Saturday Game Day

Sydney's turn for group one racing and while two of the three group one's are wide open the rest of the card is destroyed by scratchings and left with favs dripping in red odds on sauce.  Locally at Belmont wild weather overnight and gale force winds have me reluctant to tip on the meeting but we do like a couple.

Best Bet is pr3 Royal Missile.  Beating odds on fav and today's rival Bonny Be Good on it's merits last start, see no reason why it can't do it again and due to Pike riding Bonny it is fav again.  Nashville Cat for LDR trainer Jason Miller looks a danger.

Pr6 Fathom's Of GoldClose up 3rd to Falcon Crest and Material Man is good enough for this race.  Before that won two in a row easily over similar distance.

Sr2 Condor Heroes Usually wary of betting on the early 2yo's but this one couldn't have been more impressive at the trials smashing the clock and putting daylight on the others. Both Sportsbet and Luxbet have run 2nd 3rd bonus bet up to $50 promo

Ar3 Honey Steels Gold Stayer in form that has been mixing jumps with flat racing and winning both.  Confident it can win again.

Best Bet Mr7 Chautauqua : Racing enthusiasts have been drooling over this clash with buffering for weeks.  I think at 2.25 the worlds best sprinter is great value.  There is so much pressure on speed in this race and the big grey flash slingshots off the bend at Mooney Valley like no other, can't see them holding him out .  Boost the price with Ladbrokes or Sportsbet and get in the que!

MR3 Real Love : Perth's Classy middle distance mare looks cherry ripe for this race.  Gives a little weight to the boys but big danger Tom Melbourne is very inconsistent where as Real Love tries her heart out every run.  Love cheering the WA Nags home in bid spring races.

Mr6 Don't Doubt Mama : Big fan of this mare and jockey Dwayne Dunn.  Was very impressed with her last start win getting up on the fence which actually wasn't the best ground.  Has a lethal sprint at the end of her races and when a mare hits form they usually stay there.  Favourite Rising Romance is the obvious class and weight horse but hasn't won for so long I'm happy to take her on.
